ST. PAUL LUTHERAN SCHOOL ENDOWMENT FUND

Giving for the Future

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6

A Lutheran education is a gift, not a given

Faith in God is essential, and our mission as Christians is to share it (Matthew 28:16-20). A parochial Lutheran school is a luxury we cannot afford to lose, and funding is what keeps this legacy alive.

We do not often stop to think about what the future will look like beyond our own lifetime. Will a Lutheran education still be possible for the next generation? By planning ahead, we can make sure the answer is yes.

What is an endowment?

Think of it like planting a tree that keeps bearing fruit. Your gift is invested, and only a portion of the earnings is distributed to the school each year, per board policy. The rest stays invested and keeps growing, so the fund supports St. Paul this year and for generations to come.

Why invest?

Stability

A steady, reliable resource for the school, year after year.

Growth

Your gift and its investment returns keep growing together.

Legacy

A lasting way to say that faith and education matter, for good.

How to make a donation

Gifts can be made now, during your lifetime, or as a planned part of your estate.

Donate Now

Give with a cash gift made by check, credit card, appreciated stock, bonds, mutual funds, RMDs, CDs, or life insurance.

Pledge a Gift

Make a pledge to the endowment now and fulfill it over a specified period of time.

Plan a Gift

Include the endowment in your estate plan, such as a bequest in your will or a beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy, IRA, 403(b), or 401(k). Planned gifts do not affect your current standard of living.
