STUDENT LIFE

Social and Emotional Learning

Growing hearts right alongside minds.

What is SEL?

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is how children and adults build the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions, reach goals, show empathy, build supportive relationships, and make caring, responsible decisions.

SEL works best when school, family, and community partner together with trust and a strong, meaningful curriculum.

What curriculum does St. Paul use?

Generous Students

Generous Students is a K-8, Biblically immersed SEL curriculum from Generous Classroom. It teaches a lifestyle of giving and gratitude to help students overcome challenges and transform their lives.
